Tonight when you listen to Joe Biden, just remember that there is "no daylight" between Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. 

 

The Democrat platform makes it clear that Kamala Harris is running for four more years of Joe Biden’s failed policies that have left Americans poorer and less safe. They broke the economy, our border, and the world together.

Kamala supports his failed economic policies.

 

 

• Kamala Harris praised “Bidenomics” and made tie-breaking votes for his massive spending bills, the American Rescue Plan and the dishonestly named Inflation Reduction Act.
  • “Economists say American Rescue Plan contributed to inflation”

• Their policies have destroyed the American Dream. Overall prices are up 20.2%, gas prices are up 50%, energy bills are up 30%, and mortgage rates have tripled since Kamala Harris and Joe Biden took office.
• Real wages remain lower than when Harris and Biden first took office.
  • Inflation-adjusted average weekly earnings were $397.90 when Harris and Biden took office and are now $382.54 – the BLS adjusts to 1982-1984 dollars – meaning Americans have seen a 3.9 percent pay cut under Harris and Biden.
  • Under President Trump, real average weekly wages rose 8.2 percent.

• In some states, the income needed to afford a typical home has increased by over 65 percent since the beginning of 2020.

She supports his failed border policies.

 

• Kamala Harris was “appointed” by Joe Biden as the Border Czar.
• More illegal immigrants have been encountered at our nation’s borders under Biden and Harris than all two-term presidents.
• The Biden and Harris administration has failed to remove 99.7 percent of the illegal immigrants released into the interior of the U.S.
• More than 15,000 non-U.S. citizens with criminal convictions were encountered at the southern border in FY 2023, a record high.
• More people on the FBI terror watchlist have been arrested at the southern border this fiscal year than the previous six years combined.
• Illicit drugs are flowing into the country at an alarming rate, with only 5 to 10 percent being intercepted as border officials struggle to contain the smuggling.
• 1,359 pounds of deadly fentanyl and 9,614 pounds of methamphetamine were seized at the southern border in June alone, with much more getting through.
• Joshua Sharfstein of the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health: "If they're seizing a lot, it's because a lot is coming in."
• The amount of fentanyl seized in June is the equivalent of roughly 308 million lethal doses.
• Since Biden and Harris took office, roughly 31 tons of fentanyl have crossed the southern border, enough to kill roughly 14.1 billion people.
• Fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans age 18 to 45, with the number killed by the drug up 94 percent since 2019.

 

She supports his failed foreign policy.

 

• Harris previously acknowledged the key role she had in the administration’s Afghanistan withdrawal.
• Harris was the last person in the room with Biden when he decided to withdraw and answered “I do” when asked if she felt comfortable with the decision.
• Harris was “front and center” throughout the withdrawal attending “most of [Biden’s] security briefings.”
• Because of Harris and Biden’s botched Afghanistan withdrawal, 13 brave U.S. service members lost their lives – deaths that Biden claimed were inevitable.
• When Harris and Biden pulled the U.S. out of Afghanistan, they left behind billions in U.S. military equipment for terrorists.
• A year after the botched withdrawal, Harris and Biden spokesman John Kirby confirmed Al Qaeda is now “actively” using Afghanistan as a “safe haven” to “plot and plan attacks against American interests and the American homeland.”
