ICYMI: Detroit Pastor Roundtable Discussion: A Conversation on Faith, Community, and Politics

Detroit, MI - On Thursday, September 26th, the Trump Campaign and Republican National Committee (RNC) will be hosting a Black Outreach event with local esteemed pastors and community leaders to discuss the vital role of religious communities in the Black community and the impact of Vice President Kamala Harris's failed policies in their communities. As pillars of support and advocacy, these leaders will discuss key issues affecting their communities, including economic empowerment, justice reform, and tackling inflation. 
 
Pastors and religious communities have long been a cornerstone of support within the Black community, playing a critical role in social justice movements and community development. Their involvement in political discourse is vital for addressing the needs and concerns of Black Americans.
 
This event offers a unique opportunity to engage with influential leaders at the intersection of faith and policy. Speakers and attendees include Senate candidate Mike Rogers, former Congressman and Michigan GOP Chairman Pete Hoekstra, Pastor Lorenzo Sewell, and Apostle Ellis L. Smith, Founder & Overseer of Jubilee City Church. These prominent leaders will share their perspectives and invite discussion on the significant role religious communities play in shaping political discourse and advocating for the needs of their communities. This impactful discussion will also highlight the challenges facing Black communities today and how President Trump is fighting to uplift the Black community.
