Kamala Is Lying. She Wants To Ban Gas-Powered Cars

October 05, 2024

Kamala lied to Michigan voters on Friday when she said, "I will never tell you what kind of car you have to drive."

The liberal media dutifully carried her water and said that it's "false" to say Kamala "intends to ban gas-powered cars."

Here are the facts:

When she ran for president in 2020, Kamala Harris’ plan called for ending “sales of gas-powered cars by 2035.” Axios even asked her campaign if Kamala still supported this and they refused to distance themselves from the radical plan.

Additionally, Kamala co-sponsored legislation that would mandate that by 2040 only zero-emission cars can be sold.

While in office, Kamala has pursued her desire to ban gas-powered cars.

The Harris-Biden administration’s “strictest-ever rules” for tailpipe emissions will essentially force a “de facto electric vehicle mandate” onto Americans. The rules set emission standards so strict that electric vehicles (EVs) must account for over half of new car sales by 2032. For perspective, less than 8 percent of car sales were EVs in 2023.
