Last night, President Donald J. Trump announced the nomination of Pam Bondi as the next Attorney General of the United States.

There's a reason Bondi has already earned wide praise less than 24 hours later. She spent nearly two decades as a prosecutor in Florida, where she served eight years as the state's first female attorney general. Bondi, who defended President Trump during the first impeachment hoax trial, also serves as chair of the America First Policy Institute.
