President Trump Receives Over 40 Pennsylvania Sheriff Endorsements

October 17, 2024

In case you missed it, President Donald J. Trump received the endorsement of over 40 sheriffs across Pennsylvania because Pennsylvania communities want to feel safe, and they strongly oppose defund-the-police candidates like Kamala Harris.

Dangerously liberal Kamala Harris has let the people of Pennsylvania down with her failed policies. As crime continues to impact families across Pennsylvania, Harris and her administration have done nothing to solve the crime wave; it's no secret Kamala has long embraced the "defund-the-police" movement. Since Harris took office, cities like Philadelphia and Pittsburgh have experienced alarming homicide and violent crime rates. Harris supports eliminating cash bail and ending mandatory minimum sentences, and she has praised the “defund the police” movement, saying the movement “rightly” called out the amount of money spent on police departments instead of community services.

While Democrats claim crime is under control, recent FBI data shows otherwise. The FBI quietly revised their data to reveal the truth: violent crime surged by 4.5 percent under Kamala's watch in 2022. The updated data exposes the grim reality—80,029 more violent crimes nationwide than the previous year. That includes 1,699 additional murders, 7,780 rapes, 33,459 robberies, and 37,091 aggravated assaults.

In addition, Kamala Harris' border bloodbath continues to fuel chaos — impacting non-border states like Pennsylvania. From deadly drug overdoses — overdose deaths grew by 14% from 2019 to 2022 — to violent crimes, Harris' unruly border crisis has wreaked havoc in Pennsylvania communities.

These sheriffs are throwing their support behind the only candidate who will put the safety of Americans and law enforcement first. President Trump has always backed the blue – working to restore the rule of law, forge new partnerships with state and local law enforcement agencies, provide support for police officers, and adopt aggressive strategies for ending gang and drug-related violence. These Pennsylvania sheriffs are joining dozens of law enforcement organizations, including the National Fraternal Order of PoliceNational Association of Police Organizations, Albuquerque Police Officers AssociationArizona Police AssociationMilwaukee Police AssociationLas Vegas Police Protective Association, and Police Officers Association of Michigan, in supporting President Trump’s campaign to Make America Safe Again.
