It’s no wonder that over 70% of these families are forced to spend more than half their income just to keep a roof over their heads.
A recent report from the North Carolina Housing Coalition showed that nearly half of North Carolina renters are being crushed under the weight of unaffordable rents. Fair market rent has skyrocketed by 38% in the last five years. It’s no surprise that over half of North Carolinians are tightening their belts as inflation decimates their financial stability, with 50.2% identifying it as the most pressing issue facing the state. Kamala Harris is failing North Carolina, plain and simple.
President Trump can be trusted to restore the American Dream because he has a real plan to defeat inflation, bring down mortgage rates, and make purchasing a home more affordable.
