Even Nikki Haley’s Alma Mater Rejects Her Failed Campaign
North Charleston, SC – Today, President Donald J. Trump announced endorsements from College Republican chapters at South Carolina’s two rival powerhouse schools, Clemson University and the University of South Carolina. This is in addition to the over 150 endorsements from current and former elected officials and the 250 grassroots leaders who earlier joined in supporting President Trump in the Palmetto State.
“As the oldest Republican club at Clemson University, our members have seen many Republicans who talk a big game but invariably capitulate to their donors and special interests,” said Clemson University College Republican Chair Trevor Tiedeman. “Nikki Haley, the former Governor of South Carolina and Clemson alumni, is a prime example of such a politician: she’s bought, sold, and owned by deranged billionaires, the Never Trump dregs of the Bush era, and the Military Industrial Complex.”
“Nikki Haley’s disastrous proposals to increase taxes and force young Americans to fight in wars that are not in their interest would devastate the next generation of Americans,” stated Dakota Wilkinson, President of the USC College Republicans. “College Republicans across the nation agree that her failed campaign is a distraction, and that President Trump is the leader we need to evict Joe Biden from the White House and to build a bright future for us all.”
Despite raising and spending millions of dollars from Democrat and Wall Street donors, Nikki Haley continues to be crushed under the weight of South Carolina’s support for the America First Movement. With less than one month before the February 24th Republican Primary Election, a recent poll from Fabrizio, Lee and Associates showed President Trump leading Haley by over 30 points in the Palmetto State.
