National Association of Police Organizations Endorses President Donald J. Trump

July 24, 2024

Today, at his rally in Charlotte, North Carolina, President Donald J. Trump welcomed the endorsement of the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO), who recognized President Trump’s commitment to securing our communities and standing up for our brave men and women in blue.

President Trump took significant steps to restore the rule of law, forge new partnerships with state and local law enforcement agencies, provide support for police officers, and adopt aggressive strategies for ending gang and drug-related violence. In contrast, dangerously liberal Kamala Harris has sided with criminals over law enforcement by supporting dangerous defund the police radicals, calling to “reimagine” the role of police, and encouraging her supporters to help bail out now-convicted rapists, assaulters, and murderers.

“Our endorsement recognizes President Trump’s steadfast and very public support for our men and women on the front lines. As President, he directed the Attorney General to aggressively prosecute those who attack our officers; signed into law the Law Enforcement Mental Health and Wellness Act; reinstated state and local law enforcement’s access to lifesaving surplus military equipment; and revitalized the Project Safe Neighborhoods program to help reduce violent crime. We particularly appreciate his unflagging recognition that America’s law enforcement officers, just like any other citizens, have Constitutional rights, too.” – Michael McHale, President of the National Association of Police Organizations
