Arizona continues to face an escalating disaster as migrant crime, and the flow of deadly drugs surge due to the Border Czar's border policies. Recent events underscore the severity of the problem with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) making their largest fentanyl bust at the Arizona border. The historic seizure included: four million pills hidden in a trailer, along with 270 pounds of methamphetamine several days later – a street value of over $12.6 million. Meanwhile, violence against Border Patrol agents has intensified; ranging from assaults with rocks to dangerous high-speed chases. 

 

The open border policies have also fueled a devastating drug crisis in the state. From 2019 to 2021, overdose deaths in Arizona skyrocketed by 43.8%, with fentanyl overtaking meth as the deadliest drug in Arizona. In Maricopa County alone, more than three people on average die daily from a fentanyl overdose. The fentanyl flooding across Arizona has reached alarming levels; the amount seized last year would be enough to kill every Arizonan 14 times over. 

 

With immigration ranking among the top concerns for voters, it is time to secure the border and protect Arizonans from the dire consequences of Border Czar Harris’ failed policies. President Donald J. Trump and Senator JD Vance are the only candidates willing to put Americans first, and Arizonans will send a clear message when they elect them in November.
