What is a Caucus?
The Iowa Republican Presidential Caucus is the official process by which Republicans cast their vote for the Republican nominee for President. Unlike a primary election, the caucus is organized by the Republican Party of Iowa. Local meetings are held in every precinct in Iowa beginning at 7:00 PM on Caucus Night (January 15th) and last less than an hour. Voters MUST ATTEND TO CAST THEIR VOTE.
